Raunchy Sauce (Chipotle Sandwich Sauce or Dip)

Emilys Kickass Chipotle Sandwich Sauce (Or Dip) aka Raunchy Sauce Recipe

by Emily Lutringer on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 3:14pm

This is based off of a copycat recipe for Subways Chipotle Southwest Sauce, but with a couple personal twists. It goes great on a sandwich, adds tang, savoryness, and a little spice.

1/2 cup mayo
2 tsp. lime juice (about 1/3 of a fresh lime), and a little lime zest if you can manage
1/2 tsp. chipotle powder (may want to start lower and adjust to taste)
1 tsp minced cilantro
1/2 tsp. garlic powder or fresh garlic
pinch of cumin
pinch of italian seasoning blend
pinch of yellow curry powder
pinch of black pepper
pinch of salt
pinch of paprika (add more to add reddish pink color)

mix them all up well and then let sit in the fridge and chill for an hour or so (tho I just ate mine right away hehe)
makes enough for 2-4 sandwiches, depending on your preferences.
